The problem is on the coil. The dual coil is mounted to a panel inside the front left fender well. There is one bolt going through the center of the coil mounting it to the panel, which mounts to the frame. I have a 2011 ranger 800 xp le and when it sits outside when the temps are real cold, it is hard to start, cranks then fires, then dies usually repeats then will not fire at all, it is flooded, wait for 20 mins and usually fires right back up. Cold start problem. Ever since the cold weather hit I've had trouble starting my 850xp. Turn the key to on, wait a second and then start it. Turns over a few times and then dies, I have to feather the throttle lightly til its running then it idles fine. The ECU will only tell the coil to send a spark, not one side or the other, so if one is sparking the ECU is likely doing its job, but the coil is failing to send the spark downline on one side for some reason.
