Polaris ranger clunking noise in front end
Jul 11, 2021 · Balrog. Senior Member. I have a nearly new Polaris Ranger 1000 (about 50 hours on it). It recently started making a knocking/popping sound when in motion. It sounds like the noise is coming from the right rear area. When I speed up, the noise repeats faster. It happens in forward and reverse. The noise is intermittent. mine doing :cus: clunk at front end too, my bolt front shocks had oil leak since day 1 and now after 3500km has lost many oil so that's why i have a clunk each time the Wheel drop in hole. anyway i have purchase order for new 4 shocks at my dealer on warranty for sure. btw i have a clunk noise on rear passenger side shocks too (leaking). and nothing on rear driver side (no leaks) shocks parts ...Rear ended making clunking sound. I’m new here and could really use some help. I have a 2019 Polaris RZR 900 trail model and I’m having some difficulties with it. It’s has 45 hours and 225 miles on it. The only mods done to it is a snorkel and 29” tires.

If you pull the belt cover off and pull the belt, you can grab the secondary by hand. Rotate it hard one way, then the other, you will hear the clunking noise.
