Beginner build for Nioh 2. Hi. I'm posting here in desperation. After 50 levels and two books of reincarnation, I'm stumped. I was maining a spear with dual sword back up. I feel as if I wasn't doing much damage and tried rearranging skill points. I also tried changing guardian spirits with the phantom and feral burst counters being incredibly ... I would say the 3 highest benefactors are Dual Swords, Tonfa, Switchglaive. All of them will perform significantly stronger with the Dyad. I have a slightly different opinion:-. Having a secondary weapons helps in more ways than completing sets. e.g:- Switchglaive is great against human enemies and decent against Yokai. Splitstaff is Yokai melter and decent against humans.. both scale with magic as primary stat. Having two weapons is here for a reason and not just a filler. Some switchglaive combos I like: * high light + high light + Cyclone w. Masterful Strike, main ki breaker combo * mid light + Mind's Eye + Switch Stance: Retribution + ki breaker combo, main dps when engaged * Infinite Retribution w. best damage boost, burst dps vs unmoving out-of-ki enemy, either when they're cornered or downed.RELATED: Soulslike Games With The Best Parry Mechanics.
