Kaplan QBank Scores-Do they matter? Done two 75 question QBank tests, 67 and 52 respectively. I guess my question is, does anyone who has passed their NCLEX and used Kaplan have any insight or recommendations? I am of course going to continue to do QBank tests (75 questions each) and review rationales, take notes, etc. but I am just curious. First, select an NCLEX Test Date and write it on your calendar. You can always change this later, but having a date to work towards will help guide your studying. I felt more confident in school because I got 67% on the kaplan diagnostic when i heard 60% is good enough. But now doing the phase 3 quiz banks I'm constantly getting low scores like 50s, onetime even 40.Few days before the NCLEX: First took anarcher CAT exam on nov 6, did terrible. Second, did Kaplan Readiness test on same day and got a 43…terrible. Next day on nov 7th took UWorld assessment test, got 52..borderline. NCLEX experience: Took it on nov 8th, and was scheduled for 8 am but was allowed to start at like 7:40am. Finished at around 10am. The CAT's just mimic the NCLEX test conditions. For example, I just took the CAT 2 and it shut off at 75 q's with a green overall, just like my CAT 1. The difference is that my raw score was like 61% for CAT 1, and 45% for CAT 2. Now, maybe I got enough questions right in CAT 2 to keep me above minimum passing. But, that just doesn't seem right.
