Duckstation armored core 1 controllet not working

I get a black screen with nothing in it, and I have to force close the program as it won't exit on its own. I've changed the CPU mode to interpreter from recompiler (and back), I've even changed the renderer to software ...DuckStation is an emulator that works alone (as a standalone application) or as a core for RetroArch. probably the RetroArch version has a greater number of different controls support. which doesn't mean that the standalone version doesn't recognize many controls. just that RetroArch is usually better at recognition.

PS1 games ain't gonna look any better at 4k or 8k. Other enhancements are up to preference, like if you want to use any filter or dithering etc.
