Curses (negative stats) will increase the numbers of the positive stats as compensation. Since a curse can be something like -zoom or -status duration this can be quite worthwhile. But the riven stat for them are just too febble and unworthy to sacrifice a mod space for it. Hell, even a Nightmare mod with 2 different stat that each 50% weaker ... ….

A good Riven stat for the Boltor Prime would be more status chance and multishot, making the weapon more of an automatic shotgun rather than a standard assault rifle. I would definitely try and get Galvanized Chamber for it (honestly pretty easy to get once you unlock arbitrations) and a riven isn't a bad idea either considering the high disposition.
