I have a slightly different opinion:-. Having a secondary weapons helps in more ways than completing sets. e.g:- Switchglaive is great against human enemies and decent against Yokai. Splitstaff is Yokai melter and decent against humans.. both scale with magic as primary stat. Having two weapons is here for a reason and not just a filler.
