When reassembling, it's important to push the slide, in one smooth motion, all the way back until you can lock the slide back with the slide catch, then close the TD lever if it doesn't close itself. Have a p365 and can release slide just fine, slightly more difficult with an empty mag. Bought a new p365 xl, and even with my older 12/15 rd mags, i couldnt get the slide to release. I can get it to release ok with no mag. Must just need to be broken in. I picked up the Sig Sauer P365 today and I'm very satisfied; but when I purchased it the gentlemen asked if I wanted the safety or non safety version I opted for the non safety version because it felt slightly better ergonomically in my hand. Not realizing there isn't a internal safety till after I bought it.The P365 Macro TACOPS can be looked at as a P365 XMacro in which someone swapped out a regular XL top half and added a magwell and extended slide lever. The take down lever does have a tendency to turn. When I convert my M&P to shoot SIM rounds the take down lever is a pain to get the conversion kit on.
