Problem with the cannon. In order to get the cannon you have to swim back to your base, and then the Aurora despawns, and the seamoth falls. I don't know if it will get stuck in the aurora like the seamoth does in the island, but I don't know, maybe my argument isn't valid here. Yeah I ended up just leaving the old Seamoth on the beach forever and spawning a new one with console commands. Easiest option really. you can turn its beacon off in the beacon menu. but otherwise here is what will happen next. once you save and exit the game. the terrain will despawn, when you reload the game, the seamoth will fall …Use your seaglide to ram it off the sand.
