Apr 9, 2008 · Got a weird one, we have a blinker issue. Neither right nor left blinker, nor hazards, are working. It is not a fuse issue, checked both flasher, and blinker fuses. SOMETIMES they do work, majority of time they do not. Sometimes they flash ONCE then stop flashing. No lights on dash when they are not working. Mine would do the same thing, ended up cutting the tach in half resoldered and gorilla taped it back together. Same here. I took the time to pry the bezel open on the back side. Ended up breaking the glass. Local glass shop cut a new piece for $10.

Check your fuse panels in the dash and under the hood. The dash lights and gauges should be a fuse labeled instrument cluster or guages, it is probably blown. The other fuse to look for will be the tail light fuse. This is where I would begin. Take out the far left dash panel and the relay is in there, there are 2 in there back to back. Small one closed with the key and energize the big one that power all the acc. As far as the dash light tape, i just disconnected mine and replaced them with two chrome 5 led strip lights. I attached them with 3M double sided tape at the top edge of switch panel. Pull off both side lower kick panels. You will have a multi wire plug (probably passenger side) that goes into the door boot that will be completely "corroded green" Cut and reconnect the wires one to one with butt connectors. Good luck.
