P365 takedown lever won't go down
Your takedown safety lever is out of position. It should be holding the sear down. Yep this was the problem. The takedown safety level hooks around a little pin in the rear end of the FCU. This little pin is what move the sear up/down. Somehow the takedown level must have lost its grip to the little pin. The fix is to move the takedown level ...Sig p365 NEW slid lock is stiff AF. Cat2020, I purchased a new P365 after you posted everything was really really tight. The takedown lever was extremely tight as well. I just kept working it back and forth. Racked the slide about 200 times ran 110 rounds through it and although it is still tight, everything works good. No malfunctions at the range.On my new 365 if I try to remove the slide after the takedown lever is turned straight down, the slide hangs up on the inside horizontal part of the lever unless I manually hold the lever straight down. I just reassemble my wifes 365, take slide off pull trigger, see if that silver piece in the picture above is sticking up. If it is push it down, make sure you are pushing the take down lever towards front of gun while pushing up on slide release. DirectDrive · #5 · May 27, 2020. Now the issue I have comes after. With the takedown lever at the 6:00 position, I go to pull the slide back and release the slide catch lever. The slide catch comes about halfway down and stops with the slide still locked back.
I don't know much about the Sig but the above mentioned is also true for the M&P's and was true for my 229 and XD. The take down lever does have a tendency to turn. When I convert my M&P to shoot SIM rounds the take down lever is a pain to get the conversion kit on.Nov 21, 2022 · The P322 doesn’t break down like a normal SIG Sauer handgun.
