When I play scav run I get the lolzgitgud level 50+ guys lasering me from across the map.Tagged and Cursed is a hidden player state in Escape from Tarkov. It automatically applies to PMCs that don't have at least a firearm and an armor vest or a chest rig or a backpack equipped upon entering a raid. When PMCs are tagged and cursed, Scavs will actively go after them, knowing their exact location in an approximately 150 meter radius. As always, common scav courtesy applies, if a scav is spamming penow and hears footsteps, they should mumble, and you as the approaching player scav should mumble back. If you do not mumble back, you are assumed hostile. Scav ettiquette is a much underexplained role in tarkov and new players should be aware of it. 1.

I always thought it was if you don't have a gun, and a rig/backpack... It is called "Tagged and Cursed".Marked and cursed. I had no idea that bringing a pistol and 1 extra mag would make you marked and cursed. I've been trying to get the three kills on factory and have been owned by scavs 5 times because of it. So to any newer players our there like me don't forget at least 2 extra mags for your pistols or you gonna get but fucked by scavs lol. Normally I would also recommend this, but this wipe especially, tagged and cursed seems much more severe. I'm doing a hardcore playthrough, so I've been tagged a lot more then usual and the scavs will randomly turn from 150m+ and one tap. Lol. If you want to be on the safe side then bring a scav vest and a pm pistol but I can assure you that there is no Marked and Cursed on Labs. Raiders and Scavs recently have been crazy aggressive and more player like so that may be the cause. Mar 11, 2020 · This is a way for Tarkov players to get right into the action without having to track Scavs down if they don’t know the spawns. Many players like to combine the Tagged and Cursed mode with a high amount of AI, using the horde option. The Tagged and Cursed mode was first added to Escape from Tarkov with a .11 patch. sigh . i've done dozens of pistol runs to reserve and shoreline since the "marked and cursed" patch that happened 2-3 weeks ago. not once did i feel like scavs were chasing me across the map.
